08/10/2006 As many of you knows, MMB is currently not able to use WinXP high-color icons. At least it cannot change the icon within the Compile dialog. For now you can use only 16/256 color icons, which is in times of WinXP a little obsolete ;) We are aware of this serious limitation and it will be eliminated in next major version of MMB. For time before next MMB release, we made a little application, which allows you to change the application icon in an already compiled MMB application. You can use any WinXP compatible high-color mutli page icon (the icon containing multiple icons in various sizes and color depth). Here is how the tool looks like..
And you can download it here.. Just unzip the zip where you want and run the exe. The zip contains also two pre-made MMB WinXP icons! You can use them as a template for your own icons. The difference between these two ico files is that 16 color icons in file mmb_48_48_xp_2.ico uses dithering, while the first one not. You can choose which one is best for your eyes ;)
